Description
Today I went to the Brisbane truck show which was in its last day of operation and I was glad that I went as I had been given a couple of exhibitor passes by my boss who was unable to attend that day and they allowed me into the show before it actually opened. This was a good thing as I could get some photos without people in the way.
In 2010 the Scania R-series had been awarded 'International Truck of the Year and now in 2011 the latest flagship of the range, the R-730, won 'truck of the Show' at the Brisbane truck show. Scania's V8 trucks have built their own niche in the truck market and this one is no different and with 730hp she has the grunt to do anything.

This is a great truck. A 16-speed manual is the transmission I'd order mine with if I was an owner-operator, even if it meant swapping gearboxes.
