Description
On Sunday 25th Oct 2009 myself and my friend visited the Workshops Rail Museum at Ipswich which was holding a model railway show and were running an heritage excursion to the small rural town of Grandchester. Originally intended to be Steam hauled the motive power was swapped out for Heritage Diesel No.1620, class leader of the English Electric 1620 class 60 ton branchline Diesels, was placed at the head of the train.
No.1620 is seen sitting at the Workshops Rail Museum platform after the excursion, showing off her beautiful Blue, White and Grey Livery, a livery rarely seen these days
