A timeless scene - Meeting

This is the Forty-sixth image in the 'Timeless scene' series.

A early C17 class rolls past a local country passenger train that has stopped at Cabanda station. The days of Steam passing steam were rapidly drawing to a close but country branchline steam lasted longer than most but all steam had ceased by mid 1970.

C17 No.720 runs past its own train at Cabanda on the Rosewood Railway museum's preserved branch line in 2010 but it wouldn't take much imagination to beleive that it was a local goods or a light engine move passing a 'Down' passenger train.
